Hi, my name is James. Welcome to Choc Chip multimedia.
I have worked in graphic design since the last millenium, focussing online since my first freelance website projects in 2003. I now lead our small team of creative and technical staff here at Choc Chip and love helping businesses get the most out of the web.
One thing I've learned is that getting your website right can make a huge difference to your business - but what that 'right' is varies widely depending on your market and goals. Some businesses need something simple and beautiful, others have a larger vision that requires a more complex CMS and careful consideration of content structure and layout.
We pride ourselves on building world-class websites and providing internet marketing services to help all kinds of businesses Australia-wide perform at their best online.
With personal service targeted at small to medium business, in recent times we have also had great opportunities to work with larger businesses and organisations such as Geelong Otway Tourism, CBRE property developers, Rockwell Automation Distributors of Australia, Huon Trail Tourism Tasmania and Gordon Institute of TAFE.

A love of media led James to study journalism and literature at Deakin University where he graduated in 1999, and a passion for design and the emerging digital landscape meant returning to education some years later to gain an Advanced Diploma in Electronic Design and Interactive Media.
Early freelance positions included cartographic drafting, 3d modelling and Flash development as well as graphic design for print and the web. From this wide range of experiences James found web design both exciting and practical, and he formed Choc Chip in 2003 to provide web design and other multimedia services to local businesses.
The vision has grown, and James now leads a small team that specialises in website design and internet marketing with clients from across the globe.
He also teaches web and writing classes at Gordon TAFE in Geelong and continues to experiment with new website ideas, art and digital media.
Elbert F
Lead Developer and Code Guru
Elbert is a talented and creative developer who recently moved to Australia from Holland where he honed his PHP development skills working freelance and creating his own sophisticated CMS.
Not only is he a gun with PHP but Elbert is adept with javascript and many other web languages, is a Twitter superstar and gets interviewed by web development magazines. He also enjoys launching his own website projects including wappalyzer and cloud.li.
Belinda Stafford
Web Designer and Graphic Artist
Belinda is a talented visual artist who loves all things Japanese, as you can see by her Deviant Art page. She's the driving force behind many of Choc Chip's most successful website designs and provides support for many of our in-house multimedia projects.
Belinda gained her Advanced Diploma of Multimedia in 2007 but was running her own manga fansites as early as the 1990s.
